Google Caffeine – Better For Who?

Soon Google is going to launch a brand new version of its seach engine. It’s called Google Caffeine. I actually simply wanted you to be aware of this, as it might have implications for the future. A good post has been written here: Google Caffeine so go see what you make of it. They are testing various factors of Google Caffeine, such as speed and accuracy etc. and comparing this to the “old” Google. I guess Google needed to upgrade after Bing launched recently. One thing from this article on Mashable is interesting. Google Caffeine came up with many more results for a search query than the old Google seacrh engine. If this is going to be a regular occurence, than that means that all those unwritten rules about number of competitive pages (search results in quotes) might need to be re-written. How many competitive pages will Google Caffeine manage to come up with? E.g. article marketers often like to write content optimised for a keyword phrase that doesnt have more than say 10k-20k competitive pages per month! This is to make it easier to rank high in Google early on. But this number might need some revision if Google shows lots more competitive pages. Or perhaps it all doesn’t really matter, as what really matters is the actual quality of your competition, such as the backlinks they have, and the quality of those etc. In any case, you should be aware of Google Caffeine as it might influence your strategy on way or the other, or it will cause to fill your inbox with marketers bringing you lots of new opportunities, tools and strategies based on the new Google I have no idea if this kind of research has been done already, but you can be sure that several online business tools would need an upgrade. For a free online business tool, this one rocks! Another idea: if you’re a PPC marketer, you might well be interested in what happens after a person clicks on your ad in adwords. What do they read? Where do they click? Where do they go first? Is your optin box positioned well or can you improve it? Is there text people read after which they leave the site? Can you improve this? Google Cash Detective 2 Opens Once More!

Do you actually know what Google Cash Detective 2 is? I’m afraid that my explanation will simply not do justice to what it is, so I highly recommend you letting Chris Carpenter (who developed Google Cash Detective 2) explain what you get in the video you can watch when you click the link. Simply put, it’s a high-end (pricey) top ppc tool, probably the best on the market. Okay, that’s saying nothing. Here’s a summary.

Google Cash Detective 2 is a mean tool that kinda rocks the boat in the world of pay-per-click. It actually let’s you copy, clone, take over, profitable direct linking PPC campaigns at the drop of a hat. Ideal for affiliate marketing, or any kind of marketing for that matter. It’s great for Clickbank products, Paydotcom, CPA offers, you name it. Loads to choose from. It’s actually mindboggling!

It’s almost unethical, but not really That’s why it was so ridiculously popular when it opened and closed to customers not so long after it opened. So what does it do?

GCD2 shows you the ads, the keywords, the landing pages (if there are any), the profitability score, the search volume, and (this is it…) how long an ad has been performing so well. You can imagine that this is golden information: the longer the ad has been running, the better the chance it is profitable, or else someone wouldn’t pay for it! And…it shows you this stuff immediately, not after a week or two (as some tools do). Here’s a screenshot as an example:

I found this in literally 3 minutes! Check out the 3rd row. I typed in a keyword, clicked on a link, and hey presto, it showed me this:

A high volume (over 18000 searches) campaign.
The ad showed up in Google for this keyword over 91% of the time (very often = very profitable)
It had a very high profitability score (take my word for it…8677 is very high).
Also, this keyword and ad made position 1.27 on average! I think you can say this ad and keyword combination shows: success!

This may not be the best example, as the keyword cost is a little high. But still, it shows you the power of this software. But check out what it can do as well. This is magic:

The Incredible Wildcard Search Option

Another amazing way to use GCD2 is to do wildcard searches. For example if you are interested in finding affiliates who are currently making a good profit from clickbank, or commission junction, or any other CPA network, you simply type in the typical url that is given to affiliates by that network. Let’s say I wanted to find winning Commission Junction campaigns. I type in the url that is a typical CJ url, and ad an asterisk (*) to do a wildcard search. Check the screenshot I took.

Can you see the amazing evidence here? GCD2 gives you 22514 campaigns to browse and ‘open up’!! It will tell you the number of keywords any campaign is using in Google Adwords right now. And when you click on any of those urls, you are presented with what I mentioned above: keywords, ads (you can actually see the best ad out of several an affiliate had been testing!), profitability info, how long ads have been running etc. Spectacular isn’t it? “But where do I get those urls from?” you ask…No worries, you can find a big list in the forum, or just ask the helpdesk. It’s provided!

Google Cash Detective Opens Once More!

My Current Internet Marketing Project: PPC Marketing

Hi folks I thought I’d give you a quick update on where I am at the moment with my own internet marketing efforts. And that is: learning about PPC marketing. You see, I always kinda knew that there was one thing I really ought to master, and that is Pay-Per-Click marketing. Of course, this is the method where you pay to get paid more, if you’re doing it right. And that is what scared me, and so many people: how much do I have to pay to make PPC work for me? So I left PPC alone for ages and learned a lot about using other methods instead. Of course I also spend a lot on other things…as if spending money for that instead was somehow “ok” However, PPC still haunted me: people where making money with this and I read time and time again that PPC is truly the fastest way to get traffic and make money. THis kept me intrigued. So I overcame my fear and invested in myself, again. I now have tools such as Google Cash Detective, SpeedPPC (amazing tool; check it out), as well as PPCWebspy (Free!) or the cool Traffic Travis (free also!). I might be investing in a tracking software ( I have one in mind) and maybe even a good landing page creator. All handy tools, but one needs to learn to use them, and them USE THEM, to make money. And that is where I’m at right now. This is that famous stage where one can feel almost over-prepared, but still not quite ready to take the plunge and try it. This is fear folks! Fear of making mistakes, of failure etc. It’s like that for many starting internet marketers I believe. You keep ‘preparing’ for it, including buying new programmes and tools, but never fully committing to doing one thing well, really well. My advice is simple: COMMIT to one thing, and do it well. And that is my goal for next while. I’m commtting to making PPC marketing a success. I’ll keep you updated. Don’t get me wrong, other methods are still very very good too, such as article marketing, video marketing, SEO etc. but this time I’m going to focus for a bit on PPC and trust I will be able to not only learn it, but to make a superb success out of it.
