Here’s another quick video for you about how twitter can work for you or your business. Twitter can build your list, get your followers who are targeted to your niche, and simply: twitter can make you cash! I used this really cool tool, or video service, called Animoto. You can produce videos there that are really dynamic, and it gets the job done in no time at all. Real fast. If you are into video at all, you gotta check it out. In fact, you can check it out here:

They have a free service, which produces videos of a 30 sec. maximum length. But you can upgrade cheaply, as for just $30 per year (less that $3 per month!), you can make much longer and better videos, download them to your pc etc. You can distribute them to youtube and stuff like that. The main advantages are that its fast and it looks amazing. I was really surprised. Anyway here is that video I made. Hope you like it. 1. Decide in what area you want to become a celebrity. You might not be able to be known instantly for simply who you are, but you can be known in an area of interest you decide. What are you good at? What do you enjoy? What are your interests? Or if you like making money with twitter, what is your market?

2. Once you have decided on your area of interest, you need to open a twitter account and let the twitter world know about your interest and passion. But only about that particular interest. Don’t mix and match if you want targeted followers. In your public twitter profile you can explain what you like or do, and even add a link to your website! It’s also possible to create a little sidebar on the left of you twitter screen, that you can use to tell more about yourself. Now people know who you are. So what’s next?

3. Make sure you tweet interesting stuff related to your area. News items, tips, tools, etc. You should also regularly respond to others, for example by re-tweeting their interesting tweets or mentioning them in your tweets. You are now also seen as someone who is willing to share other people’s information, and not just your own. This leads to more followers and popularity. You can also promote products this way, but I would definitely share useful information and even funny stuff, ideally related to your interest or niche.

4. You are now starting to get followers. But you can also follow others who have the same interest as you. This is a great strategy. You could do a Google search for say “twitter + golf” if you like golf, or “twitter + gardening” if that’s your passion. There are also websites around that can tell you directly who is interested in which topic. One of those sites is www.twellow.com Just enter your keyword (e.g gardening), and the people on twitter with that interest come up on the screen, ready for you to follow. And here’s the thing: they might like you too when they see your profile and follow you back! Do this often, and you’ll see your twitter follower list grow steadily. Now, it is actually possible to get a large part of this process fully automated, and save a massive amount of time. Can You Use Masses Of Twitter Followers For Your Business?

Getting twitter followers can be as important for your business as ‘ordinary’ traffic from other sources. But hang on, I hope you have heard of twitter by now, or have an account yourself. If not, get one! Twitter is the new way to connect with people by means of quick, 140 character messages.

Why is this important? Because if you are a marketer, or need traffic to your website, twitter traffic can be an amazing source for that. Connecting with people through twitter is kinda fun and addictive. But you can waste an enormous amount of time if you’re not careful. Its fun, and its even more fun if people start to follow you, and become your twitter followers.

Your twitter followers list gradually build up over time, as people start to notice you and become interested in what you have to say or to offer. But if you’re a savvy internet marketer or business person, you can use this to get targeted twitter traffic to your links and websites. Yes, people do click on your links, this is a fact. So if you could get lots of followers and twitter traffic, you could develop whole new source of traffic for your business. Would that be a good thing? (hmm…). So what could a great follower list do for you? Here are a few ideas: – People might click your links and lie what you have to offer on your website – You get extra links to your site, as people start putting your cool website on their blogs and sites – People might buy your products – twitter traffic might increase as your twitter followers talk (tweet!) amongst their followers about what you have to offer by so-called re-tweeting your link to others. This can lead to viral twitter traffic. You get the picture.

So is developing a twitter traffic following important? You bet. From my experience, a certain percentage of my followers always click on my links. If you follow this carefully, you can almost calculate how many will click on average, depending on how many followers you have, and what this does to your business. Twitter rocks! It’s probably the most popular, or fastest growing social network tool around on the web right now. Everybody has to start somewhere, so why not learn about it here? Even celebrities such as Barack Obama or Christopher Walken use it nowadays. You can be sure they are building a nice long twitter list full of followers. But if you’re new, do you even know what twitter is, how to use it, how to build your twitter list and get followers and what to talk about in a little 140 character message? Let me explain.

Twitter is a fairly simple online system whereby you simply sign up for a free account at www.twitter.com, fill in some details, and then you will get your own profile page which would be called www.twitter.com/username. Now you’re ready to rock’n roll. My twitter page is http://www.twitterjan.com/ It looks different but I got a domain and re-directed it to this page /tip/YTO/http%3A%2F%2Fwww.twitter.com%2FJBanis

So what next? Well, you can now say whatever you want to people (within reason), and you have 140 characters to do it. Not much, but you quickly get used to it. Saying ‘anything’ is a whole lot of stuff for some, who send lots and lots of messages, while for others it’s just the the occasional ‘tweet’ a few times a week. It is up to you.

So what you can say? Like a blog, (in this case a ‘microblog’), you can tell the world about your life, your interests, your hobbies, your ups and downs, news items you saw, anything at all. Be creative. And if you manage to make it interesting, you will get responses from fellow twitterers, a conversation develops, and you are now building relationships.

And even better, people might decide to follow your tweets: You are now building your twitter list. You can also decide to follow people yourself as you come across interesting stuff they talk about. And then you can click their picture, go to their profile page, and click “follow”. Simple as that. Now you can also send direct messages to each other (unless they turned that option off). This can honestly become very addictive.

You build online relationships with people, some based on interests, some maybe based on business. It doesn’t matter. Let me tell you, it might not sound like a big deal, but it sure is. And here’s where it gets interesting. You can literally build a twitter list with thousands of twitter followers if you are talking about stuff that interests people, or if you perhaps offer information that people find helpful. For example by adding links to your tweets leading to websites full of useful, or funny information, or tools or anything.

Or, and this is cool, you get people to come and visit your own site. Can you see the potential here? What if you could, over time, get thousands of twitter followers (and believe me, this is very possibly), and create some amazing twitter traffic to you websites? Can you see the potential of having a long twitter list if you sell a product or a service? Of course you do! I’d say go ahead and experiment with twitter and building your list. But take my advice and build relationships too. Don’t just gather followers randomly. What do you have in common?
